About C21's Strata Management Division

Century 21 Kootenay Home's Strata Management Division, is located just north of the Washington, US border in Rossland, British Columbia, Canada. It's Manager, Mark Daines, migrated from Kingston Ontario in 1993, who, like many others, moved west in search of the ultimate skiing experience.
Mark's experience with governing associations and society’s is extensive. After working 7 years as manager of the Rossland Chamber of Commerce, 3 years in property management at Sun Peaks Resort, and 12 years as a firefighter in BC, the idea came from a number of prominent
people in Rossland's business community to
encourage Mark to form his own management company. In addition to successful completion of UBC's Strata Management Licensing Course and Property Management Course, he has diplomas in Recreation Management from Loyalist College in Bellville, Ontario and Ski Resort Operations and Management in Nelson, BC.
Daines's goals are specific and straight forward: specialize in recreational resort properties and protect the investments of those who have invested so much in their community .
“We understand that Strata owners are volunteers and the management company should perform the work they are contracted to perform. C21's Strata Management Division works for the Strata Corporation under the guidance and discretion of the Strata’s executive committee. Our service can be customized as requested by the Council. We are a progressively thinking management company that adapts to the specific needs and requirements of each individual strata corporation as committees change from time to time”, says Daines.
